Expert Say: enter a shop or a house and explain your predicament.
If it is night and shops are not open, go inside an ATM box. ATM centers
always have security guards. They are also monitored by close circuit television.
Fearing identification, no one will dare attack you.

1. Never be unaware about situations around you. Dont be so deeply involved in your mobile phone that you don't know whats happening around.
2. Never drink when something is offered to u by a known friend or a unknown person when you are in a club pub or a restaurant.
3. Store contact numbers of family members as short cuts or in A part of telephone directory. For example A Saumya, AA Shrenik.
4. Keep police numbers handly.
5. Whenever you feel the situation is awkward run to a public place like a restaurant or police station and shout for help.
6. If you feel you taxi driver or rikshaw driver is taking you from a unknown route. Stop it in a public place and change the same. Its better to ask a route hundred times rather than face hell.
7. Always be aware about whos following you.
8. Donot board a local train that is not gaurded by a policeman.
9. When travelling in a national train avoid closing curtains fully. if u feel people around u are not trustworthy and immediately ask TE for change of seats.
10. Dont wander alone to unknown places or lonely places.
